We are proud to announce our participation in the Child Vaccination Alliance, an initiative established 15 years ago by the “la Caixa” Foundation in collaboration with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and with the scientific and academic support of ISGlobal. This alliance aims to provide Spanish companies with the opportunity to collaborate on a cooperative project to combat child mortality in developing countries with limited access to universal healthcare.

Since its inception, the Child Vaccination Alliance has made a significant impact by helping vaccinate nearly 9 million children under the age of 5 in the 73 poorest countries worldwide, offering them a brighter future. This year, they plan to expand these numbers significantly, thanks to the cooperation of companies and organizations, as well as the support from CaixaBank employees and individuals who choose to contribute through micro-donations.

The “la Caixa” Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are both committed to multiplying every donation received by four, up to 2 million euros. This means that every contribution goes a long way in safeguarding the health and growth of children in need.

The funds contributed will be directed towards the distribution of vaccines in Mozambique and Ethiopia, with the primary goal of preventing pneumonia, the leading cause of child mortality due to infectious diseases on a global scale.

By partnering with the Child Vaccination Alliance, we are collaborating in improving the lives of children in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions. Together, we can make a significant impact and work towards a future where every child could grow up healthy and thriving.

We look forward to achieving great milestones together.
